In between the hectic Ibiza social engagements – be it closing parties, award ceremonies, sunset cocktails, shopping sprees, beach time, fashion shows or film premieres - there’s also the little matter of feeding oneself to attend to. After all, as the ancient Ibicenco proverb goes, if you don’t eat, you don’t have the energy to dance till dawn and we don’t want that now, do we?
Thankfully, there are plenty of restaurants on the island ready and waiting to take your booking, whether for an early morning beach breakfast, a long leisurely lunch or a decadent dinner – or all three if you’re feeling particularly peckish! Ibiza’s gastronomic scene has firmly stamped its place on the global gourmand map, and although some of our favourite eateries stay open in the cooler months (hurrah!), now is time to make the most of those who don’t, before they go into lockdown for another year.

Ibiza in autumn is actually one of the most beautiful times to visit the island – the countryside becomes awash with colour as the rich landscapes change before our eyes, the beaches become much more tranquil and the sunsets turn pink-hued and picture perfect – you just have to know where to watch them from!
