It’s always fashion week somewhere in the world, however Ibiza is like a never-ending runway – just check out the outfits, ensembles, creations and looks modeled on a daily basis. From this week, fashion stakes have officially been taken up a notch, as stores proudly unveil new season collections via impeccably dressed store windows, just in time to greet über-chic fashionistas from all corners of the globe arriving on the island (with perfectly accessorised luggage) to strut their stuff this summer.
Of course the impending arrival of summer and its fashion also means getting in shape, topping up the tan and clearing out those mental cobwebs. Whether an indulgent retreat, packed with spa treatments, sunshine and yoga to get you glowing and or an intensive program to focus on getting bikini buffed and Pacha prepped, there’s no place like our Wellbeing Calendar to find the perfect way to kick off your personal proceedings, Ibiza style…

The day of the openings...
The island is literally glowing right now – from the amount of scrubbing, cleaning, sweeping, buffing, polishing and painting it has been receiving in preparation for Open Season. And we’re not even close to talking about clubs yet – this is the time when hotels, restaurants and bars return to the fray, getting into the swing of things before the summer truly arrives.
And today – we have not one but FOUR opening parties to attend, starting with Sa Punta and Boutique Hostal Salinas then moving onto the big guns, Blue Marlin and Bambuddha Grove. Let me give you a brief rundown…

Ibiza has been the heart of the boho-luxe fashion scene for over 30 years now, however it was in the mid-naughties that the look really became synonymous with the white isle – just about the same time a young British starlet was starting to catch our eye as much for her quirky-yet-chic style as her edgy film roles.

Authentic Easter bunnies
This year, we had to bypass Easter eggs as they were confiscated at passport control back in February. Long story. But since Easter is also associated with Bunnies I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone.
How? We had rabbit with chocolate. This may sound weird and indeed it is. BUT it is good. Rabbits are only really for those who love food as for some reason many people can’t bear the idea of eating a cuddly wuddly luverly likkle wabbit. Eat a cow, oh yeah sure, no problem. But not a little bunny. The Ibicencos aren’t so sentimental…
